We’re proud to announce that The Fletcher Group was recognized by the Public Relations Society of America at the Bronze Anvil Awards Ceremony in May. We took home an Award of Commendation in the “B2B Media Relations” category. Our media relations campaign for client Blackhawk Network – titled “How America Gives Gifts: Helping Retailers Prepare for Holiday 2021” –  impressed Anvil judges with clear objectives, smart solutions and impressive results.

In a 3 month campaign we landed 250+ media placements with 1B+ in total aggregate readership. 11 of the media hits came from national business outlets, including Business Insider, NPR Marketplace, Inc., Bloomberg, Modern Retail, Chain Store Age and Retail Brew. This coverage earned Blackhawk a 67% share of voice during the campaign (compared against key competitors).

2022 marks the second year in a row that The Fletcher Group has brought home an Anvil Award. In 2021 we were presented with a Silver Anvil Award of Excellence.

The Anvil Awards have been the benchmark of high performance in Public Relations for over 75 years. PRSA’s website delineates the difference between the Silver and Bronze Anvil Awards: “Silver Anvil Awards celebrate the best strategic public relations campaigns of the year, as well as outstanding organizational excellence. Bronze Anvil Awards recognize outstanding public relations tactics that contribute to the success of overall programs or campaigns.”
