Account Director
We are seeking a mid- to senior-level PR consultant to join our team of senior-level professionals working on fintech B2B and B2C growth company clients. You will join existing account teams, work virtually and have account responsibilities including setting strategy and account direction, managing a team, content creation (articles, press releases, blog posts, email marketing, case studies, ebooks, etc.), media relations, social media management, awards and speaking proposals and more. We are a boutique agency with a full roster of retainer-based clients. We offer full-service content marketing and PR programs in a more efficient manner than larger agencies so all consultants must be comfortable and eager to complete work in strategic and tactical roles, and expert at self-directed work and working remotely.
Essential Responsibilities and Skills:
Account Direction and Client Relationship Management: Experience setting strategic plans, overseeing and managing account scope, successfully setting and working towards measurable objectives, and building trust with client leadership from the marketing team to the C-Suite.
Media Relations: Proven experience securing top-tier tech, national business and trade media coverage for B2B companies. Tech, fintech, and payments experience a plus. Strong appetite for consuming media, finding newsworthy angles, newsjacking, building relationships with journalists, and keeping a finger on the pulse of the rapidly-changing media landscape.
Thought Leadership: Experience showcasing thought leadership of clients through award wins, speaking opportunities, social media posting, media interviews, bylines, etc. Content Creation: Proven ability to help clients meet their goals through content creation such as articles, press releases, blog posts, case studies and ebooks. Experience recommending and executing sponsored content opportunities a plus. Strong writing skills with the ability to distill complex B2B topics into engaging content, and an enthusiasm to write everything from tweets to blog posts to more complex articles and white papers.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of PR experience
- Solid writing capabilities and samples
- Strong earned media examples
- At least 5 years of experience in PR agency/agencies B2B client experience
Special consideration to those who have: consulted before; have experience with payments or technology clients; have content marketing experience including content creation, sponsored content management and paid social.

Content Manager
We are seeking a content manager to join our team of mid to senior-level professionals working on fintech B2B and B2C growth company clients. You will join existing account teams and work virtually. We offer full-service content marketing and PR programs in a more efficient manner than larger agencies so all consultants must be comfortable and eager to complete work in strategic and tactical roles, and be an expert at self-directed work and working remotely.
Essential Responsibilities and Skills
Content Strategy and Creation:
- Strong understanding of writing and storytelling skills, including the ability to translate complex B2B product features into thought leadership content about industry pain points and trends.
- Ability to use GenAI tools as a writing partner to expedite research, content ideas, topic outlines and drafts.
- Comfort with using or creating brand voice GPTs that capture a company or spokesperson tone and style.
- Ability to create multiple pieces of content in varying forms from one topic, such as an e-Book, a long-form article/blog, short-form blog, social posts, presentation, etc.
- Ability to outline and execute a multi-channel content campaign, including owned, paid, earned and shared media.
- Experience writing new content to perform well with LLMs and experience with reworking/editing existing content for LLMs.
- Ability to interact with senior executives and distill/build out thought leadership ideas into compelling narrative.
Paid and Shared Channel Management:
- Ability to run organic LinkedIn content on behalf of B2B client pages and executive profiles, including creating and implementing multiple posts (copy + images) per week, testing and refining posting strategies to drive engagement above B2B industry benchmarks, grow followers and maintain strong impressions.
- Ability to create and manage paid LinkedIn campaigns on behalf of B2B clients, including write all copy, create post images, or other media, recommend and implement all campaign elements (such as ad type and ad strategy, ad format, budget strategy, etc.)
- Ability to vet, recommend and oversee implementation of sponsored/syndicated content campaigns for B2B clients, including understanding of keys to successful content, ability to manage ad partner and set expectations for program. implementation and KPIs, recommend budget and acceptable costs per KPI etc.
Strategic Thinking and Campaign Execution:
- Ability to develop and execute integrated content, marketing and PR strategies
- Experience crafting messaging and identifying key narratives
- Creative ideation for campaigns and thought leadership angles
- Ability to assess what is thought leadership or “newsworthy” and advise clients accordingly.
- Ability to support market research campaigns, including turning data into compelling storylines for blogs, bylines and e-Books that align with client’s KPIs.
Account Management:
- Excellent client communication skills (responsive, proactive, clear)
- Ability to set and track KPIs, manage timelines, and report on progress
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Comfortable running client calls and leading media updates
Nice to have: Media Relations and Earned Media Expertise:
- Strong understanding of the media landscape and how to secure coverage for B2B clients with complex offerings
- Ability to identify and capitalize on newsjacking opportunities
- Strong media pitching and storytelling skills
- Reporter relationship-building and maintenance
- Understanding of media cycles and deadlines

Media Relations: Understanding and application of media relations, content marketing and digital media skills, including proficiency in targeting outlets, proactive outreach, developing messages and materials to prepare clients for interviews.
Content Creation: Ability to interpret client content goals and target audiences, ability to craft content outlines and drafts that require little direction and editing. Advanced familiarity with digital tools and channels for strategic business purposes, and integrating content marketing, digital media strategies and tactics into plans.
Reporting: Advanced understanding and effective application of reporting and merchandising skills, which share team results in a way that translates to business consultants, and tracks progress against KPIs set for the year.
