Bringing Home Hardware: Fletcher Group Wins Two MarCom Awards

We measure our success by the success of our clients. And it’s immensely rewarding when we add value to award-winning programs that help further our clients’ businesses. While we’re regularly on the prowl for award opportunities to validate the superiority of our clients’ services, employees, executives and other accomplishments, there’s a cherry on top when their accolades also give a nod to our contributions.

As part of joint collaborations with two of our clients, PR and marketing assets we helped create were recently honored by the MarCom Awards. The award series is a well-respected, international creative competition that recognizes outstanding achievement by marketing and communication professionals. Entries come from around the world and winners range in size from individual communicators to media conglomerates and Fortune 500 companies.

Alongside our partner Blackhawk Network, we won a Gold MarCom. The entry was for the creation of an animated infographic that showcased our client’s proprietary research about consumer gift card preferences. We conceptualized and created the infographic by:

  • Developing a strategy for showcasing our client’s data-driven insights into the gift card industry
  • Culling through data to identify which insights would be most of interest to our clients’ partners, prospects and media
  • Formulating and executing on our recommendations for best presenting the data in a thoughtful, unique way

To date, the animated infographic has generated high-performing website traffic, evident by its 1,700+ views.

We also received a Platinum MarCom for our work alongside client Hawk Incentives for an ebook about digital rewards. For our part, we wrote smart, sales-focused copy to help drive leads via dozens of ebook downloads.
